Monday 8 February:

Usual harbourside dawn walk (pleased that dawn. is getting earlier – currently 7.35am) on a bright, but very cold, day.
Usual morning coffee with Moira… talked about my forthcoming ‘death’ discussion with Robin!
Watched some cricket (4^th day of an interesting match).
Emailed Ian Adams after reading his article ‘Persistent Presence’ about an ‘empty pool’ in Cambridge, which he’s been returned to regularly over the past 2 years (felt similar to my own thoughts about Bristol Marina).
In the afternoon, had an interesting ‘death’ chat with Robin!
Read and sketched in the rest of the afternoon.
Evening telly: the usual ‘Only Connect’ and ‘University Challenge’ (but I also watched a Julia Bradbury ‘South West Coastal Path’ episode on ITV – but no sub-titles).
