Fetched the newspaper and spent some time poring over it over morning coffee.
Watched some of the first day’s cricket of the second India v England test match.
Did another sketch of our ageing tulips (and made up colours!)… followed by bacon bagels for lunch.
Afternoon was spent watching the rugby (England beat Italy easily enough, but not particularly impressively) and then Wales narrowly beating Scotland (after Scotland had had a man sent off in the second half – the second consecutive week that Wales’s opponents were reduced to 14 men… and ended up winning both games!).
Watched the last ‘Marple’ episode of our box set… whatever will we watch now?
