LOVE IN THE TIME OF COVID-19: Sunday 6 June:

Diary of random thoughts and observations from the perspective of self-isolation/distancing... I don’t actually know what lies ahead of us… but it could get pretty awful over the coming days/weeks/months. ‘Old people’, like me, will be first group that the government asks to self-isolate. Obviously, as far as possible, we need to prepare – both practically and mentally. I’ve decided that I need this outlet for my reflections during the course of our days of isolation. March 2020

Sunday 6 June:

A quiet Sunday (the sun shone)… fetched the newspaper; Moira and I had morning coffee together.
Moira and I walked our usual harbour circuit.
I read for much of the afternoon (Kate Atkinson)…
At the end of the afternoon, we had Ru+Stu+Iris+Rosa round for early supper… and it was just LOVELY. Time to relax, chat, relax, laugh and catch up. We‘ve missed doing this stuff SO much!
Early to bed… fingers crossed that I’ll be able to sleep.
