Wednesday 23 June:

Bloke’s Prayer at the Society Café this morning (in bright sunshine)… with Dave, Dru, Ed and Nick. I walked there taking the ‘long’ harbourside circuit via Hotwells and Pero’s Bridge.
Walked home via the pharmacy and picked up my repeat prescription (just about to run out!)… and then had morning coffee in the garden with Moira.
Received a very disappointing email from Laurence saying that George has been told by his lenders that it might take them 28 days in which to response to the Japanese Maple ‘situation’! SO frustrating…
Telephoned Beaver Electrics with a view to arranging a survey of number17 (hopefully, next Wednesday)… and exchanged emails with Nick (agent) confirming key collection etc.
Collected my two books from Storysmith and also re-stocked with some basic fruit+veg from Hugo’s.
Read more of my Vanessa Bell book in the afternoon… and also did a lazy sketch from my armchair!
Evening telly: ‘Villages By the sea’ (Clovelly) and watched a bit of footie (much prefer watching ‘neutral’ teams!).
