Wednesday 2 June:

A very full-on day!
Zoom Bloke’s Prayer first thing (but no early walk!)… with Jonny (in Denmark) and Robin (in Spain) and others in Bristol!
After that, Han+Fee+Ursa collected us and drove down to Bovey Tracey to see Ru’s ‘Moonlit’ exhibition… which we all really thought was quite stunning. Everything about the space was wonderfully conceived and presented. Very very proud!
H+U+F then dropped us off at Exeter station (they were travelling on to stay with Martin+Ruth in Bridport for a few days) and we got back home at around 5pm.
Laurence rang me on the train – George wanted to reduce his offer by £10K (which is fine by us) and the real concern/uncertainty relates to the potential Japanese Knotweed issue (which may affect George’s mortgage offer). Clearly need to think about the best way of approaching the problem… and get back to Laurence tomorrow.
Early evening Storysmith bookgroup for me (graphic novel)… another excellent discussion.
Evening telly: ‘Repair Shop’… and to bed pretty early (Moira’s eyes were hurting – so we’ll watch ‘Sewing’ tomorrow?).
Image: just one photo from Ru’s pretty special show.
