Moira
woke a little later than usual and hadn’t got time to walk before streamed
church, so I undertook my usual harbourside walk – although it was a little
strange to be doing so three hours later than I usually do it (beautiful
weather).
In fact,
I decided to miss streamed church today because Bristol urban sketching were on
a ‘virtual sketching exchange’ with Leicester urban sketchers. It felt a bit
weird to be fitting in with how another group was handling sketch meet-ups
during lockdown (they only zoomed at the start and finish), but it was all very
enjoyable.
Caught up
with various chores around the house and then watched another of the David
Olusoga programmes.
Roast
lamb for supper – and it really was VERY good!
Later
watched an episode of SkyArts’ “Landscape Artist of the Year” (first time).
Didn’t enjoy it as much as ‘portrait artist’, but still very good.
Villa won
a game of football (AND actually scored two goals!)(sadly, all their rivals
also won over the weekend).

the single scull rowers are back in the water!
