Sunday 19 July:

As usual, Moira and I went walking before streamed church (regular harbour circuit)… too many people about for my liking! Was greeted by Shaun outside ‘Wild Beer’ – he’s been struggling a little during pub/bar-lockdown and sleeping on the streets again; good to see him in ‘good form’ and pleased to be back working again.
Laura led and Lee preached at streamed church… not many people ‘there’ (perhaps 22?).
Did some sketching briefly (finishing an old drawing) before bacon sandwich lunch.
Read some more of my book (and also changed my bed linen!).
Watched a bit the second FA Cup semi-final (but got bored); also watched ‘Landscape Artist of the Year 2019’ winner’s trip to Venice (rather lovely).
Had a lovely phone call from Rosa – telling me about her camping adventures in her friend’s back garden (in two tents) as a celebration of the end of her time at Luckwell School… and also thanking me for their macaroni cheese!!
