Tuesday 14 July:

Grey and drab morning (but very still/no wind) for my usual dawn walk.
Fresh tomato on toast and espresso breakfast.
Morning coffee with Moira inside.
Finished by “An American Marriage” bookgroup book – slightly disappointed, I expected to be far more impressed. Scribbled up usual book review update.
Drawing Group theme for this week: “Illustrating a Book, Song or Poem”. As I have literally just started Peter May’s “Lockdown” book and produced a pretty rapid mock-up cover.
Spoke to Zabiullah on the phone and sent off his email address to the college (for registration purposes) and also reminded Sam that she needed to contact him about money issues.
Agreed details with Karen regarding this weekend’s Urban Sketchers ‘virtual’ trip to India and posted details on facebook events (no google streetview in India). Too much to choose from!
Watched one the Alan Bennett ‘Talking Heads’ programmes – always very impressive.
