Friday 23 April:

I went for an anti-clockwise dawn harbour walk… another bright, sunny day. Then called into Tesco’s on the way home to buy tonic water (I’d been drinking Moira’s!) and paracetamol (we’d run out).
Before setting out on my walk, I put out all our left-over books plus a pile of CDs, DVDs and old clothes outside the front of the house in response to a flyer received earlier in the week. Part of me suspected they’d fail to turn up… but, hey, they actually DID collect! Huge relief and much gratitude!
Spent the rest of the day continuing to sort, clean and tidy (the estate agent is coming round on Tuesday to measure up etc and the photographer will also be there to take pics).
Changed the bedclothes in the back bedroom (and washed the dirty bedclothes AND managed to dry them on the line in the sunshine!).
Finished off the living room, then went downstairs and sorted out the back studio and storage cupboard.
Tried to get rid of various other stuff on the street (including golf cart, golf bag and some plates, dishes and bowls)… with mixed/reasonable results (but someone breaking a blue bottle was a bit of a pain – and which needed clearing up).
Evening telly: rubbish (I started to watch a ‘Fawlty Towers’ episode but stopped half way through).
