Went for my regular dawn harbourside walk… watched a cormorant catch an eel; watched the sun emerge from an orange sky (well, almost); saw the harbour cranes all lined up quite close together (and with their jibs at the same angles… wonder why?).
Moira and I had relatively early coffee – as she had an ‘actual’ doctor’s appointment. They’ve referred her to a ‘motion clinic’ (for her wobbles) and for a chest x-ray and blood test (for her breathing).
The bulk of the day (apart from some more brief preliminary sketching) was taken up with a combination of vacuuming/dusting and reading (I now feel reasonably confident I’ll finish my bookgroup book by the deadline!).
Evening spent on a zoom call with Chris Goan… which was lovely (and we even had time to talk about cricket!).
