No walk this morning despite the weather looking bright and sunny.
Another patchy night’s sleep, but much less of the tossing+turning!
Decided to do some more sketch drafting over breakfast in advance of Sunday’s USk trip.
Moira was keen for us to go out for morning coffee – to REAL café! So we went just down the road to ‘Albatross’ and sat outside in the sunshine… very nice.
Had hoped that Laurence would have had our house ‘on the market’ during the course of the morning but, for some reason, it didn’t happen… but it WAS on the website by mid-afternoon. Still don’t quite understand his optimism that there will be viewers booked in on Saturday from 10am-3.30pm, but hey!
Had lunch with Ru (she was working in her studio) and she showed us the amazing garment she’d made for her imminent Devon Guild exhibition – complete with intricate hand-sewn texts. I was incredibly impressed… it’s absolutely beautiful.
Somewhat worried that I won’t have enough time to complete my Storysmith bookgroup book by next Wednesday – so I spent a fair amount of the afternoon reading.
Evening telly: history of make-up and Portillo.
