Tuesday 6 April:

Went for my regular harbourside walk just after sunrise. Beautiful sunny day, clear skies… and incredibly cold! I hadn’t taken my gloves and soon regretted it.
Back home for morning coffee with Moira.
The morning was very much involved in domestic chores… clothes washing, sorting out refuse/re-cycling/folding up cardboard boxes and clearing (well, partly) the wardrobe in the back bedroom.
Among the things I re-discovered were yet more picture frames!!
I’d previously put more picture frames out on the street (and a couple had gone)(I think we must have disposed of perhaps 15 in total thus far – plus the old wardrobe mirror)… but, having ‘discovered’ another ten(?) frames in the wardrobe, I resolved to try to get rid of these too in due course (as the other frames were taken… or not). I was about to replace two frames when a young bloke came along and looked eagerly at the ‘new’ frames (it transpired he’d taken a couple of previous frames) and, after a brief conversation, ended up taking them for his artist girlfriend… which was nice.
Spent the afternoon sketching and reading (and eating mini-chocolate eggs!).
Had another zoom meet-up with Alan in the evening (should have included Barry, but he forgot!)… and talked about Ron’s 100th birthday (on Thursday).
