Fairly overcast morning (although, very briefly, just before sunrise, there was an impressive ‘the sky’s on fire’ glimpse from the bathroom window – see image). Went for an walk (just after dawn) to the Avon lockgates/Cumberland Basin – to coincide with the high tide (pretty high, but not flooding roads etc)… and then sat down opposite the Nova Scotia pub to sketch for a while… and then walked home via the harbour to Gaol Ferry Bridge.
In the afternoon, watched the film ‘A United Nation’ on catch-up (impressive – a film I’d originally intended to watch at the Watershed).
Evening telly consisted of ‘Between The Covers’ (book programme) and ‘Van Der Valk’.
