Usual early morning walk down by the harbourside… completely still water and sun breaking through the clouds.
Morning coffee with Moira inside(!) followed by me gathering up all the old honeysuckle clippings from the back garden (that had been piled up in a corner and getting very soggy) and trimming some of the bamboo and stray apple branches… and putting everything in garden waste sacks. Then arranged online for them to be collected by the Council (3 November).
Listened to a lovely podcast from O’Hooley+Tidow (FolkonFoot) chatting and singing as they walked through the woods and alongside the canals in Colne Valley, West Yorkshire (where they live).
Can't remember what we did in the evening, apart from watching 'Between The Covers' book programme... but Villa lost 0-3 at home to Leeds!
