Bloke’s Prayer via zoom this morning, so decided to delay my harbourside walk until after our get-together. It proved to be a very wet walk (fortunately I had all my waterproofs on!)… and, perhaps because of the weather, it was largely people-free.
I read some more of my Wodehouse book in the afternoon – although I struggled to keep my eyes open!
Caught up with some telly at the end of the afternoon (‘Only Connect’ and Michael Palin’s look-back on his travel documentaries).
Had an excellent catch-up zoom chat with John Tremlett in the evening – re-living some of our college memories and comparing ailments (he came off far worse – knee operations, lymphoma and atrial fibriliation!).
