Usual dawn walk… perhaps a little earlier than usual (or maybe it was just very cloudy and overcast?), then back home to read before morning coffee with Moira.
Spent most of the morning preparing a draft re-ordering report and covering email to Lee… which I subsequently modified after a lengthy telephone conversation with Richard T. In the end, Lee emailed me back… and I clearly need to make some modifications to the report (ie. reduce it in length!)… easier said than done.
Spent part of the afternoon preparing a preliminary ‘virtual’ sketch in advance of Saturday’s online gathering… but also Iris popped in to collect a package (a pink cowboy hat!) and sit in the garden chatting (over a juice drink). Lovely to see her… and she seems to be coping really well.
Watched ‘Celebrity Portrait Artist’ in the evening.
Villa lost at home in the EFL Cup to Stoke.
