Didn’t go for a dawn walk, due to zoomed Bloke’s Prayer at 8am (I could have done it, but would have had to cut it fine). So, leisurely poached egg+toast breakfast followed by an hour of chat and reflection (Robin, Dave, Ed, Dru and Nick).
Laurence Irvine (Urban Lighthouse) came round just before lunch to have a look around the house and talk about pointers if we decided to sell (say next Spring?). Useful chat… described our house as “charming and full of character” (I think… and valued it at around £450K).
It had been a beautifully sunny morning, so Moira and I decided to go for a walk Frayne Road/Metrobus Bridge/harbourside/Leighton Road… which was lovely (sat on a bench beside the harbour and wished we’d taken a flask with us!)… all very Autumnal.
I spoke to Barry Willetts via zoom in the evening (part of my ‘winter project’!) – very good to catch up. He was in very good form.
