Saturday 13 June:

No walking today… overnight rain, followed by a grey start to the day and remained pretty dull for the rest of the day. Morning coffee inside.
Had another Hugo delivery today, which is great (despite the expense). We’ve now acquired something like a dozen cardboard fruit boxes (which, thus far, we’ve failed to persuade Hugo to collect them back!)(see image). They’re actually perfect for storing books that we’ve decided to give to charity… but we’ll definitely have LOTS of boxes still leftover!
Set up our next ‘virtual’ urban sketchers meet-up (next Saturday at Alhambra!).
I ordered Will Dean’s latest book at the start of the day and Emily (from StorySmith) duly delivered it in the afternoon… lovely to see her (at appropriate social distance) – first time in over three months!
Read some more of my bookgroup short story book…
Spent some of the afternoon absorbed in more family history (well, desperately trying to find family members on Moira’s side)… with the inevitable frustrations!
Disappeared off to bed quite early to read my new book (not the scary short stories – those are reserved for daylight hours!).
Image: Just some of the ever-increasing pile of veg boxes that are gradually taking over our kitchen!
