Wednesday 17 June:

Moira and I have now been self-isolating for 13 weeks!
Bloke’s Prayer as usual at 7am… wide-ranging conversations and laughter.
Finished my short story book (scarily good!)… and have ordered Peter May’s book “Lockdown” (originally published in 2005, I think?) – which seems appropriate in these strange times!
Morning coffee in the garden after Moira had done her daily walk (no walking for me today, which is unusual).
Did some exploratory checking on The Alhambra location for Saturday’s urban sketching meet-up… and ended up doing a quick sketch of a raised walkway, as you do.
We’ve now received H+C’s updated Final, Final(!) Report on Saint Stephen’s re-ordering… which is essentially the same as their February 2020 version, but with some ‘protective caveats’!
Heavy rain, thunder and lightning late afternoon – which, after all the amazing weather of the past three months, cam as a bit of a surprise!
Evening television ofRepair Shop and Sewing Bee.
Image: the garden gutter flowers are quite colourful…
