Tuesday 16 June:

Dawn walk around the harbour… a walk I do most frequently, but there’s always something new/different – whether it’s the weather, sky, quality of the light, water, the odd fisherman or just some incidental event. Pretty overcast and just a couple of people about (plus three fishermen).
Morning coffee inside, followed by some more of my short story book.
Spent most of the morning preparing stuff on church re-ordering (for circulating to PCC alongside the consultants’ report).
Listened to the Resonate podcast in advance of tonight’s ‘meeting’ (on ‘reading during lockdown’)(and very good it was – although a little too long perhaps at 65mins?).
Resonate via zoom after supper (on the same subject). Interesting evening but I’m always left feeling that ‘zoom discussions’ tend to result in a handful people dominating things too much. All a little frustrating.
Finished the evening with us watching ‘A House Through Time’ on TV (the last episode).
