Wednesday 10 June:

Sorry… another rather unremarkable day!
Into our 13th week of lockdown.
No dawn walking (grey clouds), but Bloke’s Prayer met via zoom at 7am as usual… which is always good.
Moira and I had morning coffee inside today (no surprises there, given the weather).
Read a little after Bloke’s Prayer, then spent most of the rest of the day working on M-A’s picture – slow, but study, progress. I don’t think it’s going to be anything ‘special’, but I am very conscious that drawing every day has hugely improved my ability (and confidence) simply to ‘draw what I see relatively quickly (and reasonably accurately). Given that I’m having to utilise google images/streetview’, that’s a huge positive!
Watched the 30 mins SkyArts programme on catch-up (in lockdown, they’re a weekly opportunity for artist (and viewers) to draw/paint a celebrity model every Sunday (I really do need to give it a try!)… they get well over 2,000 artists from around the world submitting their images every week – hugely impressive.
Wednesday evening tv is very good at present: ‘Repair Shop’ and ‘Sewing Bee’!
