Sunday 20 December:

Fetched the newspaper first thing and then Moira and I went for what was to be our regular Sunday morning walk… but, in fact, we only got as far as Raleigh Road before having to turn back (Moira’s hip was painful).
Tuned into Streamed church (Lee/Laura/Alan).
Went to Wilko’s to buy a replacement lightbulb for the anglepoise and later to Storysmith to collect my book (‘Wind in the Willows’!).
Sketched a little via google streetview (Oxford Broad Street) and read a little.
Afternoon and evening telly: watched the excellent ‘Eagle Huntress’ (which I’d previously seen at the Watershed 4 years ago) and last episode of ‘Dark Materials’.
Took some more (poor) photographs of Jupiter+Saturn (tomorrow is the day they virtually coincide – ‘great conjunction’ - the last time this happened was nearly 400 years ago (1623).
Villa beat Albion 3-0 at the Hawthorns… Albion down to 10 men after 36 minutes. Bears beat Connacht 27-18 away from home in the Cup.
