Wednesday 9 December:

No early morning (or, in the end, any) walk today… 8am Bloke’s Prayer currently coincides with sunrise, which is a shame. But a good prayer session – even if it only lasted 45 minutes (which seemed a little strange).
Morning coffee at home with Moira… general catch-up/Christmas present round-up etc.
Did a simple line drawing of a Siena façade (in advance of Sunday’s urban sketching get-together).
Went to Hugo’s for fruit and veg (a little frustrated by the fact that it took four attempts to accept my bank card!).
Read more of my ‘Dandelion Wine’ book in the afternoon.
I also watched (thanks to Ed) Bristol University’s “Life sciences in a post-truth world: A COVID-19 case study” via YouTube. Excellent and very informative.
Had a zoom ‘meeting’ with Adrian Howkins and friends (Sarum College Local Learning Group)… could have done without it, but quite interesting nevertheless.
