Read for a while first thing.
Morning coffee in the garden with Moira… still warm, but the forecast is for rain/thundery showers over the weekend.
I sent a note to Urban Sketchers changing our sketching day from Saturday to Sunday due to weather (and even then, it might be a bit dicey).
I did a couple of sketches – one based on dandelions (from a Dutch illustrator?) and another of the scaffolding in front of a house on Fairfield Place (from our house).
Our dining table was duly collected (the bloke was very nice and we feel it’s gone to a good home!).
Someone expressed an interest in the throne chairs – but was haggling far too much (AND he lived in Burnham on Sea and wanted to meet half way!!).
We’ve received various documents from our solicitors for signing (Hannah from up the road has kindly agreed to witness them for us).
Ate supper in the garden (the wind is starting to build!).
Alice+Co have set off to Center Parcs (all very excited – and fingers crossed that Mikey is ok).
Evening telly: watched a documentary about the V+A conservation department etc.
