First day of ‘holiday’ in Eastville. HUF managed to get to
Drimnin without any hitches and were picnicking on the ‘beach’ at 2.30pm!
Weather in Bristol pretty grim – wet for most of the day. I stayed in and
sketched and read some of my (long) book ‘All The Light We Cannot See’ (Amazon
were apparently due to deliver cat food… and eventually showed up at 6.30pm).
Moira had left her phone and her nasal/mouth medication at home(!), so went out
and bought she ‘make-do’ equivalents (and a Saturday newspaper).
A very lazy day, but enjoyable nonetheless in different
surroundings… and it certainly didn’t feel like a Saturday!
Bristol Bears beat Saracens 16-12 (to go second in the table)
as the rugby season re-started.
Managed to check out Netflix etc on H+F’s TV… and ended up
watching “The Two Popes” (with Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce both
excellent).
