Saturday 22 August:

Weekend, so still no dawn walks. Having our new washing machine meant I spent pre-breakfast sorting out washing/backlog etc.

Went to Tesco’s first thing to buy get newspaper, cheese, food caddy bags (and Magnums!).

Generally read newspaper before Urban Sketching virtual ‘meet-up’ in St Ives – which was good fun (maybe 12 of us?).

Rosa phoned from Penzance… and in very good form.

Moira was on cat duty in the afternoon at R+S’s and I read and listened to the cricket online.

Watched yet another ‘Portrait Artist’ episode… and also the cricket highlights.
Read into the night (well, for me!) and finished my 'All The Light We Cannot See' book (absolutely brilliant).
