Another good night’s sleep(!) and feeling pretty well (almost back to normal?).
Went to Tesco first thing to get the newspaper (via voucher)… and realised that I also needed to get some paracetamol – which meant using my card for an item costing less than £1 (nobody carries money anymore). Ridiculous. Surely, there MUST be something else we need? Fortunately, I spotted the mince pies…
Life is full of difficult decisions.
Spent a small part of the day continuing to explore Katmandu sketching locations.
Watched ‘Swallows+Amazons’ on telly.
Spoke briefly to Ruth. Iris (after 2week isolation from her friends) was due to meet up with one her best mates today… BUT her friend had just received an virus positive alert (which obviously meant SHE had to go into isolation for the next fortnight). Understandly, Iris (and her friend) thinks the world is against her.
Moira met up with Hannah very briefly on Castle Hill to chat through Christmas possibilities and exchange a couple of things. I get the feeling there’ll be much juggling this Christmas!
Watched a streamed version of ‘The Grinning Man’ from the Bristol Old Vic, via laptop. Quite brilliant (how we’ve missed the theatre this year!).
