I decided to take my dawn harbour walk on the other side of the river this morning… via the Pump House, Brunel Wharf/Hannover Quay, Lloyd’s Amphitheatre, Pero’s Bridge, Prince Street Bridge, Gaol Ferry Bridge. Although the weather forecast was again predicting a pretty grim, cloudy morning I was fortunate that the sun crept through (albeit briefly) as I was walking past SS Great Britain – which made a very welcome change.
Home for morning coffee (and a telephone chat with David McLaughlin).
Spent part of the morning scribbling out a Drawing Group sketch (this fortnight’s theme is “Dream” or “Nightmare”… I chose nightmare – imagining that Trump had won the election!).
Spent some time packaging up Dave Buckley’s Christmas present (but forgetting to use any Christmas wrapping paper!) and Bryson’s book for Alan.
Read more of my Osman book in the afternoon.
Early evening telly: second part of the excellent Rinder ‘Holocaust’ documentary.
Resonate zoom gathering to discuss “Reconciliation, Race and the Environment”.
