Another overnight stay at Temple Street while Ru+Stu set up Ru’s exhibition at the Devon Guild. Once again, the girls were very organised and sorted out stuff without any panics or last minute changes of plans.
Moira and I returned home and immediately had opur morning coffee and a chill… (I think we were both pretty tired – especially Moira who felt in need of a lie down).
I sorted out various catch-up FB stuff and also wrote my usual book review (having completed ‘Big Sky’ – and also realised, thanks to Moira, that we have four other ‘Jackson Brodie’ crime novels on our shelves!).
In the afternoon, I scribbled in my sketchbook while watching a fascinating documentary on Muhammed Ali.
Ru rang in the middle of the afternoon to ask if I could call in at Temple Street again after school to keep I+R ‘company’ – it sounded as if Ru+Stu would be need to pretty late in order to complete the exhibition set up.
Enjoyed pizza with I+R (so lovely chatting to them again over a meal!)… Ru and Stu arrived home just after 7pm (which was pretty impressive – no traffic). Exhausted but also elated and proud. Happy homecoming!
