No dawn walking today because Laurence had lined some more viewings for the morning (how many, we weren’t sure… 2? 3?), so it was a case of leaving the house by 9.30am. Afterwards, he texted that he’d send us an update over the next couple of days (doesn’t exactly sound as if buyers are queuing at his door!).
As we had to ‘get out of the house’, we’d booked a CarClub car and a slot at Tyntesfield NT… and we ended up having a very lovely morning/early afternoon there… in bright sunny weather (but a chill wind in the exposed areas). We’d taken coffee and sandwiches for lunch. I had some difficulty with the car (stalling in awkward places/difficulty getting it started etc)… which all felt a bit depressing.
Returned home about 2pm and just chilled for the rest of the afternoon (reading and catching up with FB etc).
Evening bookgroup via zoom (fantasy novel)… another session of really enjoyable conversation and insights. The book was something of a 50:50 split (so I was pleased not to have been the only person who didn't enjoy it!).
Evening telly: ‘Repair Shop’ and ‘Sewing Bee’.
