Monday 24 May:

My usual dawn walk around the harbour… started and ended in sunshine, but rain in between (and I hadn’t taken my waterproofs!).
Morning coffee with Moira (inside)… although the sun was out for much of the day.
I spent the morning scribbling some prospective queries for solicitor (regarding Deanery Road management group/service charges etc and then worked on a fairly quick boat sketch.
Most of the afternoon spent reading ‘JanuaryMan’ (not my favourite book of the year – lots of nature/birds/trees descriptions and perfectly pleasant to read, but I yearn for rough maps of the walks and a few more observations about him, his father etc.
Very pleased (and relieved) to have received the Building Regulation Consent notice via email from the Council.
Evening telly: Last of series 1 ‘Canal Diaries’ and ‘Between The Covers’.
