We managed to get to church and back in the dry… just.
From then on, it was a pretty miserable day weather-wise.
Somerset reduced Gloucestershire to 27-6 in their first innings (of a hugely rain-restricted game) before more rain meant the game was abandoned as a draw.
Villa ended the season by beating Chelsea 2-1 at Villa Park (with spectators in attendance for the first time this season).
I spent most of the day (after reading the Observer) finishing my Kate Atkinson book (excellent).
Ru+Stu collected more stuff from the studio… despite the heavy rain. Miserable.
Went to bed early straight after 'Countryfile' and 'Antiques' (Moira was watching ‘Midwife’ and ‘Pursuit of Love’) to read.
