Went for my usual harbour walk just after dawn… very still, somewhat overcast and hardly anyone about.
Back home for simple toast+marmalade+coffee breakfast.
Received a text from Hannah first thing… asking if they could come round for coffee (before their vaccinations at Ashton Gate). So Moira and I enjoyed greeting (and HUGGING!) H+F and sitting in the garden in bright sunshine – which was very lovely.
Finished my quick sketch started during the course of watching the John Lennon documentary from yesterday.
Sent Lee an email (following my brief text replies of yesterday).
Finished my ‘Pilgrim’ book (Bloke’s Books)… and scribbled a review.
Evening telly: ‘Canal Boat Diaries’ and ‘Between The Covers’ (and I also watched 'Colette' - an Oscar-winning short documentary about a former French resistance woman visiting the concentration camp where her brother was killed.
Image: Fee’s photograph of our first daughter hug for 14 months (I look somewhat gormless!)!
