Friday 18 September:

Six months calendar since Moira and I went into lockdown.
Tyntesfield at the end of the morning.
It was good to be at Tyntesfield again (you had to book in advance and they’d implemented a one-way walking system!). Beautiful sunny day and we were surprised that the car park was so full and by the numbers of people. With the number of coronavirus cases on the increase around the UK (and perhaps the distinct threat of a second wave and another lockdown?), it almost felt as if people had decided they needed to take advantage of being able to get into the countryside. But perhaps I’m being over-pessimistic?
Spent a slightly frustrating time trying to post something on facebook about my Blurb book (I wanted to put up a link to the online page-turning device). Eventually, I managed to sort it – but not without a few posts that didn’t show the details I wanted to highlight.
Booked Car Club and went to Tyntesfield (for a picnic lunch and a wander)… beautiful sunny day, so we were very lucky (again).
Moira had a bookgroup ‘virtual meeting’ in the evening… I watched a documentary about African art… and went to bed early (surprise, surprise!).
