Sunday 20 September:

Moira and I skipped our usual pre-streamed-church walk because we made our way to HTH for the ‘live’ service. We didn’t stay for communion, but it was good to see a few people (albeit very briefly). Frustratingly, the loop system wasn’t working, so Moira was unable to hear most of the service… which was somewhat annoying. Moira’s arthritic hip(?) was also troubling her, so we walked there and back VERY slowly.
By the time we got home it was lunchtime, so we spent lunch reading the Observer.
I spotted that Doctor Zhivago (1965 David Lean film) was on the telly during the afternoon so, because I’d never seen the film in its entirety, I spent just over 3 hours watching it (and enjoyed it a lot!).
Roast beef supper… went down very well!
Watched the Mortimer+Whitehouse fishing programme in the evening (good, relaxing, amusing Sunday night telly!).
