Monday 21 September:

I was about set out on a dawn walk when I remembered that my Blurb book was due to be delivered sometime today – and, according to the email confirmation I’d received, would require ‘signing for’. Delivery was ‘helpfully’ scheduled was scheduled for “any time before the end of the day”. In the end (with Moira still fast asleep at 7am), I decided not to risk being out when the package was delivered and went back into the house. Predictably, the package was delivered just before lunchtime… and no, they didn’t ask me to sign for anything (they simply posted the book through the letterbox!). Hey ho!
Wrote some 'reflections'... thinking about the repercussions of a potential second-wave.
The book looked good and, on first inspection, no glaring errors.
Ruth was in the studio today - it was lovely to see her again and have an opportunity to chat briefly. They all seem to be coping.
Went down to Hugo’s for fruit and a loaf.
I did a little sketching and a little reading… and ordered a couple of books (Bloke’s Books and a biography on Joni Mitchell).
Watched a bit of a documentary on ‘The Shadows’ via iPlayer.
‘Only Connect’ returned to telly this evening, so the traditional ‘OC’ and ‘University Challenge’ Monday evening entertainment is re-established!
