Went for my regular dawn walk around the harbour. Looking out
of the bedroom window sometime before 5am, I sensed it was going to be a bright
clear morning… but I was obviously still half asleep because, when I stepped
outside the house just over an hour later, it was just dreary drizzle! But I
still enjoyed being out… and, in these times of social-distancing, strange to
see a coxless fours boat setting out from the marina.
Met up with Hannah at Queen Square for a retrospective
birthday ‘lunch’ (Pieminister pies followed by coffee at the Social Café!).
Very enjoyable catch-up.
Spent the rest of the afternoon juggling urban sketching
‘events’ and more reading.
Evening telly: ‘Bauhaus Rules with Vic Reeves’ and ‘Portrait
Artist’.
