Unusually, no dawn walk again today… I’d arranged to meet up with Ana at 9.30am in Cumberland Basin to sketch, so walked there along the harbourside from Wapping Wharf. Really beautiful, warm+sunny morning – perfect for chatting and sketching. And sketching early proved to be a good move because, from lunchtime onwards, it had turned overcast and dull.

PM announced new Covid-19 restrictions (pubs, bars+restaurants to close at 10pm; people now advised to work from home if possible… and these restrictions could last six months).
New series of ‘Bake-Off’ started… we’re trying to record them, so that we can follow the sub-titles!
