Sunday 6 September:

Moira and I went walking around the harbour on our usual Sunday morning walk (and picked up the newspaper).
Holy Trinity were holding its first ‘live’ service (but also streamed)… we watched part of the ‘streamed’ version (Lee’s talk was excellent… found Frances somewhat irritating – but I acknowledge that that’s just ME!).
Urban Sketchers were actually meeting (properly!) to sketch at Brandon Hill… Jane and I organised/led two groups (maximum group numbers = six, under the Covid-19 rules)… and others were encouraged either to join in ‘virtually’ or just sketch independently. Anyway, it was good fun and very good to actually ‘see’ real people!
Read some more of my ‘Wild Silence’ book and later enjoyed roast beef supper!
As yesterday, later watched Lucy Worsley’s “Fibs” history programme and another ‘Portrait Artist’ episode.
