Sunday 17 May:

Finished my ‘Radio book’ first thing – and it proved to be much better than I’d originally thought – in fact, I really enjoyed it.
Moira and I went for an early morning walk before streamed church – just a brief loop of the harbourside (Bathurst Basin/Guinea Street/Redcliffe Parade/The Ostrich/Gaol Ferry Steps).
I sketched in the garden briefly and then read some of my new ‘cricket book’.
Great to have a proper ‘visit’ (ie. pavement in front of our house) from Hannah, Felix and Ursa (bringing lots of goodies) and also Ruth popped in with a newspaper for us and to pick up some stuff from her studio… SO lovely to see them all. We feel very loved!
I was only saying to Moira on our walk this morning that I was concerned that we seem to have almost ‘come to an end’ of catch-up TV series and the like… and, hey presto, among H+F’s goodies was a batch of DVDs!
It was actually a very good day for treats – because we also had a roast beef Sunday supper!
Gentle evening… which included watching a Scottish documentary on mountaineer, Hamish MacInnes (oh, what exciting lives we live!).
Image: Hannah+Felix+Ursa… plus photo-bombing Ruth. Love it!
