Friday 29 October:

Definitely in need of a day of chilling… and not travelling!
Slept pretty well and woke quite early (around 5.30am as usual)… and set about trying to catch up on various stuff: finished my Kate Atkinson book of short stories; organised photographs; finished my Lytham sketch; going through emails; emailing removers (asking them tto fetch their boxes); emailing Skipton Art Shop (saying I still hadn’t received my sketchbooks); writing up my book blog; catching up on ‘one day like this’ blog; catching up on facebook messages etc.
Moira and I enjoyed a reflective coffee time… and both agreed that the holiday had been lovely.
I went to Hugo’s to buy fruit+veg etc and also to Roots flower shop. Home by lunchtime.
Spent much of the afternoon still trying to sort out outstanding stuff (AND sorting out this year’s family ‘Secret Santa’ arrangements!
Evening telly: another Montalbano.
