Spent the early part of the day ‘chatting’ online to someone on Virgin Media about adding SkyArts to our telly ‘package’ (and was told I already had access to it)… but then ended up phoning Virgin when our telly was clearly telling us we couldn’t get it. To cut a long story short (the online ‘conversation’ took ages – with LOTS of me waiting for my ‘agent’ to get back to me!) the telephone call indicated that we’d need to pay an extra £13/month… and that’s what I ended up doing(!).
I’d also been awaiting comeback from Bristol Boilers (about our bathroom loo issues) and ended up ringing them again… hopefully, a plumber will be round on Friday afternoon.
Did some sketching (poor-quality) on the balcony and read more of my ‘Buried Giant’ book.
Early evening was the Deanery Management AGM… well chaired MartinH(?)… occasional frustrations and people hogging the floor etc.
