Pretty crowded trains and the number of people wearing facemasks depressingly few.
All five Buckleys were there to meet us on the platform, which was lovely. The first time we’ve actually seen our grandchildren in TWO years! Alice+Dan took us on to Lytham (and for a walk along the seafront in the sunshine before we could book into our hotel – The Queens Hotel).
Moira and I settled in and then I went out ‘exploring’ a little before our early evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant (good value).
Tiring day… earlyish to bed.
