We booked into Charnock Farm Motel (on Alice’s recommendation – it was only a 5 minute drive from their house). Pleasant enough… and clean.
Then on to Buckshaw and it was lovely seeing everyone again – and, this time, being able to spend time with everyone.
Gentle lunch and general natter… and followed in the afternoon by a trip to a range of rural studio buildings-cum farm-cum cafés.
Watched (at Jemima’s suggestion) “Our Yorkshire Farm” – about a couple with nine children(!) and their sheep farm. It really was quite lovely.
Returned to the Motel around 8pm.
