Entirely cleared the furniture out of the living/dining room very first thing this morning… in preparation for carpet-fitters. Three guys arrived just before 9am and we’re ‘done and dusted’ by 10.45am! Very efficient or skillful.
I finished my ‘Buried Giant’ book while the carpet was being fitted (and also sketched our folding chairs… vaguely!).
I’d put a note on facebook bemoaning the demise of my ancient scanner… and Ian contacted me saying I could have his (his new printer incorporates a scanner)… which is excellent news.
After lunch, Moira and I ‘put together’ our new Habitat dining table.
Even managed to spend a little reading (‘Dorian Gray’) on the balcony.
