Instead, we decided to walk up to Clifton Village (long time since we’d been there!). Moira found the uphills pretty tough, but it was good to get there… and we bought some provisions and had coffee (on the street) at Chandos Deli. Walked home through Victoria Square (very Autumnal feel… brown leaves scattering the ground) and then down park Street. I bought (two!) pasties for (my!) lunch!
I spent some of the afternoon reading and also watching ‘Swallows and Amazons’ film on the box…
Early evening telly: Lucy Worsley’s ‘Crime’ series (repeat) and then a bit of ‘Antiques’.
